The problem
A tool that was too complicated and too rigid
The company was using Odoo, but found it unnecessarily complicated and rigid. Day-to-day work needed a simpler route: the team wanted a system that was straightforward to use and one step ahead of how the business was moving, not a general template that had to be bent to fit.
How we solved it
One connected record from order to dispatch
We rebuilt the core workflows around the plant's own processes, including bagging, batches and stock movements. A customer order, the materials needed to fulfil it and the output ready to leave the plant now sit in one record.
- Sales, purchasing and production connected, removing repeated data entry between departments.
- Role-based access, so each team sees its own tasks while leadership sees the whole operation.
- A modern web stack, React on the front end and FastAPI on the back end, making the system faster to use and easier to extend.
The solution was delivered in 30 days.
Customer benefits
Simpler operations and a clearer picture
Less re-keyingInformation is entered once and reused across sales, stock and production.
Visibility for managersWhat has been ordered, what is in production and what is ready to dispatch is visible in one place.
Fits the plantThe system follows real cement operations rather than a generic template.
Works in the fieldBecause it runs in the browser, it can be used from the office, the plant floor or a tablet.
